The journey started slowly but began to take shape once I decided to pursue the craft full time. On the 2nd of November 2024, I launched Studio Foon, a space to create functional, intentional pieces that celebrate food, coffee, and the rituals of daily life. Through ceramics, I’ve come back to the things I’ve always cared about: design, craft, community, and connection.

Far East, our local roastery, provided the coffee and my friends and family baked treats. It was an overwhelming experience, standing in the space where I had spent months slowly practising, testing forms and glazes, and agonising over many failed pieces. But the most meaningful part was being able to share that process, the quiet work behind the scenes, with all the people who came through that day.
