Since filming myself has become part of my studio practice, I’d always hoped someone else might capture the process through their own lens. I reached out to my friend Tiago, who has a creative eye for moving images and is someone I had always wanted to collaborate with. We’ve always shared a love for creative expression, often chatting about it when we would run into each other.
The process started with some back and forth, figuring out the tone and style we were both drawn to, talking through production details, and then spending half a day filming in the studio. It felt relaxed, collaborative, and true to the way I like to work. Nothing forced, just good energy in the room. It always feels right when things come together with that kind of ease.
